25th Annual PB&PA Softball Tournament!

Champion Fields

The State Tournament is scheduled for August 13-15, 2010 in Normal. Games will be played at Normal's beautiful Champion Fields softball complex pictured above!

Host Hotel Reservations

Marriott Hotel & Convention Center


This year's host facility is the brand new Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in Uptown Normal. Rates for the Tournament are $109 per night. Reservations can be made now by calling 800.228.9290 or 309.862.9000, or online using the above link.

If making online reservations, use the group code "POLPOLA" to get the special rate. When making your resevervation by phone, please mention the PB&PA 2010 Softball Tournament (Unit 22) to receive the special rate.

Please make your reservations soon - after July 23, 2010, room rates will be $159 to $189 per night!

There is no secondary hotel booked for the tournament, but should the Marriott fill up there are many other fine hotels in Bloomington/Normal to choose from!

A weekend of great entertainment is planned for the hospitality rooms, including local favorite
Gutter Monkey
providing live music on Friday night and a DJ on Saturday night!

Registration for each participating team is $200. Rosters can be sent to Kendra DeRosa via email. Please include Unit number, Team Captain, and a list of all players when submitting your roster.

PB&PA Unit #22 provides the following services for its members:

→ Contract negotiation with the Town of Normal
→ Representation during officer investigations
→ Filing of grievances
→ Sponsorship of social events to foster relationships between officers and officers' families

In addition, the PB&PA Unit #22 holds fundraisers throughout the year. Most of the funds raised during these events are given back to the community through donations to local charities, organizations and families in need. Each year, Unit #22 contributes thousands of dollars to the community through donations and sponsorship for various programs.
